Amanda
Chloe
Amanda and Chloe are very sweet, lovable kitties despite their rough starts in life.
They began their lives as ferals, but came to trust humans after they were trapped
and spayed by their former owner.  In a sad turn of events, their owner was evicted
from her rent controlled home where she had lived for 20 years.  Without money to
pay the current, high rent in Los Angeles, she was forced to live in cheap motels,
where pets weren't allowed.  Unable to hide the cats for long, Chloe and Amanda's
next stop would have been the pound, but they were rescued in the nick of time by
Stray Cat Alliance of Los Angeles.

As a member of Stray Cat Alliance, I followed their sad stories and decided to take
on the role of foster Mom.  My husband and I drove to Los Angeles on July 27th,
2007 to pick them up.  While they are settling in nicely, they long for their own
permanent families that will shower them with love and attention.

Amanda is a white and brown tabby, domestic short hair.  She is approximately 2
years old.  She is very affectionate and demands attention by pushing her head into
your hands and pawing your arm.  She gets so excited when
petted that she "makes
biscuits" compulsively.

Chloe is a black domestic long hair.  She is approximately 2 years old.  She is very
quiet and laid back, but loves attention and pets once she feels comfortable with
someone.
She especially likes her back scratched, and can't help but do the
"elevator booty" when her humans oblige.
