FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I'm interested in your service.  What's the next step?  The next step would be
to schedule a "meet and greet".  This will give you an opportunity to interview me,
for us to get to know each other, and for me to meet your pets.  We'll also
complete the paperwork, which includes your pet's information, a veterinarian
authorization form, contract, etc.

Do you charge for the meet and greet?  No.  Although some pet sitters charge
for this time, I do not.

How long does the meet and greet take?  The meet and greet usually lasts 30 -
45 minutes.

Do you keep house keys for future visits or return them?  Depending on your
comfort level, I can either keep your keys for future visits, or I can pick them up
and return them for each trip.  The first pick-up/drop-off is free of charge.  All
other pick-ups/drop-offs are $5.00 per booking.  Most clients, however, do allow
me to keep their keys.  They are kept in a safe place in my home (which has a
security system), and are NEVER kept with your address.

Do you offer pet boarding in your home?  No.

What if I have an emergency outside of normal business hours?  If you are
away from home and feel as if your pet is in danger, I'm available 24 hours a day, 7
days a week.  For all other visits, I'm available during normal business hours
(8:00AM - 8:00PM).

I had to leave work the other day because I thought I left the iron on.
Would you be able to help if that ever happens again?
 Yes, if I already have
your house key.  The safety of your pets is my number one priority.

Do you walk multiple clients' dogs at once?  It depends.  Since most daily dog
walking clients need their dogs to be walked mid-day (between 11:00AM and
1:00PM), I reserve that time for booking multiple clients' dogs if they are in close
proximity.  However, not every time slot has more than one booking.
There are benefits to "sharing your dog walker".  If there ARE multiple bookings, I
offer a $2 discount per walk, per client, which can save a daily client up to $40.00
per month!  Also, dogs love to socialize, and are usually very happy to
accommodate!  I take great care in matching walking partners, and do not walk
more than three dogs at a time - small dogs with small dogs and large dogs with
other large dogs.

What would happen if you couldn't make it to a visit because of an illness
or personal emergency?
There are procedures in place for situations that could
result in my inability to complete the visit(s).  If I were sick, injured, or unable to
make it to a visit due to an emergency, my husband, Jake, would complete the visit
for me.

Do you do last minute bookings?  For established clients, I can do last minute
bookings for an additional fee, although I can't guarantee a specific time slot.  For
new clients, I try to accommodate requests as much as possible.  However, I can't
schedule a visit until paperwork has been completed and I've met the pet(s) in
advance.

*What is "The Potty Break"?  The Potty Break is a new service that we offer
for our
daily dog walking clients who only require that their dog be taken out for a
mid-day potty break, and not a full, 30 minute walk.  We walk your dog until s/he
potties, or up to 15 minutes, whatever comes first.  There is limited availability for
this service and it is only available to clients who
have only one dog and are
scheduled for five walks per week.  Also, there must be easy parking and the
flexibility to complete the visit within a two hour window instead of a specific time
slot.
